Phil from Atzikial

It’s all because of tectonic plates and theories that all of these geological events are happening. The earthquakes, tsunamis and mountain ranges were all caused by plate tectonics.

Unlike Atzikial, Earth used to have one massive continent called Pangea, that scientists debated over, because they were trying to interpret the positions of the different shapes. Atzikial however, was always one continent and still hasn’t moved.

Phil gets lost in the wave, and Priscilla notices his ship, and tells everyone to get in it.

It’s made of rainbows. Phil was always talking about how yours was made of rock. 

Certain studies have revealed that new rock is made on the ocean floor. In Atzikial, they don’t have technology or oceans, so they don’t know how their rock came to be.

The lithosphere- crust and solid part of mantle. The crust- the top part that we live on, rocky plates.

The Earth surface is made of rocky plates.

There must have been a movement along the fault, because movement along faults causes seismic waves or more commonly known as earthquakes.

Two continental crusts must have collided, because when they do, mountain ranges sometimes form. The same thing can happen with volcanoes, but that’s when a continental crust collides with an oceanic crust.

This entire book is about plate tectonics. It’s about an alien called Phil, who comes to Earth to explore the tectonic plates.

Phil, Priscilla, Greenie, Steve and Aqua went to a plate boundary, which is part of the several layers of earth, that scientists use technology to make guesses on. Plate boundary’s and plates, however, weren’t guessed.

Aqua explained to Phil’s parents about how usually we use our knowledge of geological processes to keep ourselves safe and keep ourselves updated on what’s going to happen. But in this case Phil’s spaceship knocked the technology of course and it came unexpected.
