ALBATROSS CLASSWelcome to the Albatross Class
How does the class work?
We are a discrete Year 6 class and we are working towards SATS in May. However, we are about far more than that. We look forward to a year of creativity, great learning and transition to high school
We have learned about learning - and how we need to work at it!
Extra Mild, Mild, Spicy, Hot, Extra hot! We have different levels of challenge in class for children to choose from
We aim to get outside often as it makes the learning memorable.
We also use books to inspire reading and writing, as well as film and pictures.
We also like to get creative and do plenty of art and DT - restrictions allowing!
Being the oldest in the school, we also take on responsibilities such as House Captain and Student Librarian
SATS
The real work for SATS starts after Christmas but that does not stop all lessons from happening: it just means that we start collecting great examples of writing, refine which maths we are practising in our daily top-ups and add in some more formal practice in small bites.
