UVA DECA attends three to four DECA conferences a year with three located in Louisiana.

Fall Conference, Sports Marketing Conference, and State Career Development Conference.

We Complete Community Service Projects.

Fall Conference

SPORTS MARKETING CONFERENCE

At the conference, you will receive training in leadership, networking, professional development, compete, and take part in an actual competitive team event.

Louisiana DECA has a great 1-day conference with DECA and the New Orleans Pelicans's NBA team. Come learn about careers with a professional team, tour the Smoothie King Arena, and attend a NBA game.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE

This is the biggest event of the year and it's held every February. Only the best and brightest are there and it's jam-packed from the Opening Session to the Grand Awards.

This is where you get dressed up, show off your hard work from the year, and compete against other members for the top spots and the honor of representing LA DECA at ICDC. Get the scholarship applications, community service hours, and leadership awards submitted because this is where we recognize the Best of LA DECA on stage.

This is also the conference where members elect the next State Officer Team. There are only 5 positions available - will you be filling one of them? Ask your advisor about Becoming a State Officer Candidate today.

ICDC

The DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) is the culmination of the DECA year. More than 22,000 high school students, teacher-advisors, business professionals, and alumni gather for several days of DECA excitement.

Conferences are held each year in April. Located in Orlando, Atlanta, or Anaheim.
