The CAFOC of Paris (academic center for continuing education) is one of the GIP-FCIP departments of Paris (public interest group - for continuing education and professional integration). We are part of the National Education, actor for more than 40 years of continuing vocational training. The missions of CAFOC declined in the academic strategy, answer three axes: 1. The training of the staff of the GRETA network (group of public local educational establishments), 2. Consulting and engineering development of tailor made devices and actions, serving businesses, and towards the network. 3. The construction of a global, multimodal offer that responds to the challenges of the digital economy, the energy transition, and the development of transversal skills.

The&nbsp;regional&nbsp;framework

- To identify the skills to validate the professional project - A unique tool shared by the Ile-de-France actors Including the competencies of the European Framework of Reference for Languages (CECRL), the Illettrisme referential, the key competencies, the CléA basic competencies - Trainee's competency portfolio

- A trainee who is an actor in his or her own pathway in a reflective posture - This reference framework was created in the Ile de France région with all the training stakeholders in 2010. - Many academics have validated this project.

Thanks&nbsp;to&nbsp;this&nbsp;project, actions were carried out for the students of our first level school and with the students&nbsp;of&nbsp;the partner schools of the second level of&nbsp;guidance,&nbsp;orientation and support for the development of personal and relational skills through inclusive methods and methods in presence and&nbsp;at&nbsp;distance for young people and adults.

Our school is in Tuscany, in the centre of Italy

Our students are mostly foreigners who attend Italian language courses of different levels, but there are Italian students too: they need a middle school certificate or a document related to the basic skills.

The project involves four institutions: two Italian CPIAs (CPIA 1 Siena and CPIA 1 Grosseto), a Spanish institute (CFA Francesc Layret) and a French institute (GIP FCIP - Paris).&nbsp;The strategic partnership aims at exchanging good practices, in order to consolidate the collaborations and to share and compare the best methodologies implemented by the different partners.

Barcelona is a big city with its features.One of them in terms of educational organization is that we have a consortium between the Catalan government and the city hall of Barcelona.Consorci d'Educació de Barcelona is a state  institution that regulates all the schools around the city.

CPIA 1 Siena promotes&nbsp;adult&nbsp;education&nbsp;and&nbsp;ensures&nbsp;a training&nbsp;offer&nbsp;for&nbsp;Italian&nbsp;or&nbsp;foreign&nbsp;adult&nbsp;citizens, according to the learning needs of the territory, in the perspective of life-long learning.

OUR COURSES:

•Literacy (A1, A2, B1) •Lower secondary school •Upper secondary school, only the first two years •Courses in detention&nbsp;centres&nbsp;(Siena - San&nbsp;Gimignano) •English language courses •French language courses •Spanish language&nbsp;courses •Italian language for the driving license for foreign students •Other courses (ICT, art and literature, etc.)

We are part of the state educational system so many of us work as civil servants.These schools are owned by the city hall, like ourselves, the staff can be permanent civil servants or temporary civil servants. Access to this position is controlled by the consortium of Barcelona.

In 2010 the&nbsp;Indications&nbsp;and&nbsp;recommendations&nbsp;for the&nbsp;integration&nbsp;of&nbsp;pupils&nbsp;with non-Italian&nbsp;citizenship&nbsp;were released.

The CAFOC is also called engineering service in continuing education of the Paris Academy; recognized to offer training tailored to the needs of beneficiaries, we use methods and tools of work analysis and we rely on real activity for training purposes. Specialists in active and participative teaching methods, we offer our expertise in training engineering and pedagogical engineering in the specific field of the adult learner.

Transversal&nbsp;competences

- Basic skills&nbsp;are an&nbsp;agregation&nbsp;of skills necessary to be autonomous in everyday life (personal&nbsp;and professional). - Key competences, as defined by the European Parliament, are those&nbsp;"necessary for&nbsp;personal fulfilment and development, employability, social inclusion, sustainable living,&nbsp;success in a peaceful society, healthy life management and active citizenship”&nbsp; - Soft skills, [...] a set of competences that are more related to behavior in a professional&nbsp;context and less to theoretical knowledge.&nbsp;These skills depend&nbsp;in particular on&nbsp;the ability of&nbsp;individuals to react to others and, unlike "hard skills", are less specific to jobs or disciplinary&nbsp;fields.(L’effet des soft-skills&nbsp;sur la rémunération des diplômés, CEREQ, 2016)

The CAFOC of Paris (GIP FCIP) is certified since 2019

The EDUFORM label aims at guaranteeing the quality of the services offered and implemented within the vocational training network of the French national education system throughout the country. This label integrates the entire national quality reference system of the Qualiopi certification. It is awarded for 3 years after the completion of a national audit. In April 2022, 120 training organizations will have the EDUFORM label. EDUFORM is committed to a set of values : access for all to orientation, education, lifelong training, qualification, certification, and integration while respecting gender equality, diversity and sustainable development.
