Sustainable living describes a lifestyle that attempts to reduce an individual's or society's use of the Earth's natural resources, and one's personal resources. People who live sustainably often try to reduce their ecologica footprint by altering their home designs and methods of transportation, energy consumption and diet and conduct their lives in ways that are naturally balanced, and respectful of the Earth.
Why should we live in a sustainable way?
- the Earth's natural resources are running out - we must stop climate change - people create too much waste - as a result of climate change (droughts, heatwaves, extreme weather, floods, landslides, etc.) people must leave the place where they live resulting in a massive migration wave - too many cars on the roads make cities unliveable places - air pollution leads to the development of different diseases - cutting down rainforests changes the Earth's eco-system for the worse
