Mahmood Adil - Medical Director, Information Services Division (ISD) and Health Protection Scotland Professor Adil has 25 years of clinical, public health and management experience and has delivered on senior leadership positions in the NHS and USA. Prior to joining NSS, he held the post of National Quality and Efficiency Advisor at the Department of Health, England. He has served as Medical Director of the Care Quality Commission Establishment Team, Head of Health Protection in North West England and also taught and conducted research at the Yale School of Public Health (USA). He is an alumnus of Harvard Kennedy School, Institute of Directors and the Institute of Healthcare Improvement (USA). He has postgraduate qualifications in medicine, paediatrics, public health, economics, management and health informatics.

Lloyd Humphreys - Head of Europe, SilverCloud Dr Lloyd Humphreys is a Clinical Psychologist by training with a business degree from the European School of Management and Technology (Berlin) and has developed, delivered and scaled a number of digital health solutions. Through this work he has been acknowledged as one of the Top 100 Health Tech Influencers and been recognized by the National Health Service for his involvement in bringing innovative technology solutions to market, being awarded one of the first NHS Innovation Accelerator Fellowships. He has helped company’s breakthrough into the NHS as can be seen by his involvement in nearly every innovation program, from NHS Test Beds, Global Digital Exemplars, Local Health and Care Record Exemplars, NHS Apps Library, and NHS Vanguards. Beyond the UK, Lloyd has helped introduce digital health across 9 countries and 4 continents.

Professor Marion Bain - Co-Director, Executive Delivery Group, Public Health Reform, The Scottish Government &nbsp; After qualifying as a doctor, Marion worked in a number of hospitals across Scotland before specialising in public health. Within public health she developed specialised expertise in the use of information to support population health and drive improved care - in particular through the use of routinely available data and record linkage. In 2007 she established the Scottish Public Health Observatory (ScotPHO), working with a range of partners. Her career developed increasingly into leadership as she worked in local and national NHS Boards throughout Scotland and the Scottish Government. From 2009 - 2017 she was Executive Medical Director of NHS National Services Scotland, and from 2014 – 2017 she was the elected Chair of the Scottish Association of Medical Directors. Marion is a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. She is an Honorary Professor in the College of Medicine at Edinburgh University. Marion took on the role of Co-Director of the Executive Delivery Group for Public Health Reform in October 2017. She led the development of the Public Health Priorities for Scotland which were published in 2018, and she is now leading the delivery of the new national public health body – Public Health Scotland – which will come into being at the end of 2019.

Roger Halliday - Chief Statistician and Data Officer, Scottish Government The Chief Statistician and Data Officer, Roger Halliday, has overall responsibility for the coordination and implementation of professional standards that help maintain trustworthiness in the use of data, its quality and delivers improved outcomes for people in Scotland. In particular, he helps coordinate high professional standards that statistical staff follow to ensure the statistics are independently produced.

Gavin Woods - Client Services Director, Aurion Learning Gavin Woods is a consultative digital learning professional and has cultivated over 14 years’ experience helping corporate, public and third sector organisations with their learning and development challenges. As Client Services Director of Aurion Learning, he champions the positive effects that engaging, effective learning content can have on an organisation and its stakeholders. Gavin specialises in helping health and social care organisations deliver their digital learning strategies including; NES Education for Scotland, Scottish Social Services Council, Health Service Executive Ireland, Department of Health Ireland, Health and Social Care Trust (NI), the Northern Ireland Practice and Education Council for Nursing and Midwifery, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, and Irish Mental Health Commission.

Professor George Crooks. – Chief Executive Officer, Digital Health Institute &nbsp; Prof George Crooks is the CEO OF THE Digital Health and Care Institute, Scotland's national Innovation Centre for Digital Health and Care. He was previously the Medical Director for NHS 24 and Director of the Scottish Centre for Telehealth He leads the Integrated Care Action Group of the European Innovation Partnership for active and healthy ageing for the European Commission. He is a non executive director of the European Connected Health Alliance. He is the past President of the European Telematics Association (EHTEL) and remains a member of the Board. He is also on the Board of the European Critical Care Foundation.
