The Missing Unicorn

Bubbles noticed the trail of black magic that was in the ocean. Bubbles said, "Of course I can help, Princess Izzy! I don't know where Shimmer is, but I just noticed this trail of black magic. Let's follow it. Maybe it will lead us to Shimmer!". Izzy agreed as she hopped onto Bubbles's back. They rode off into the ocean, following the trail of black magic.

The trail of black magic led Izzy and Bubbles to a nearby island. As they rode closer, Izzy noticed that the island was not covered in rainbows and sunshine. The island was dark and lonely. It was covered with trash, and it smelled like garbage.

Izzy and Bubbles were deeply worried about Shimmer the unicorn. As they swam through the ocean, Bubbles exclaimed, "What if something bad happened to her? What will we do?". Izzy said, "Don't worry Bubbles. Shimmer is a brave unicorn, and we are both very smart. We will find her in no time".

When they finally reached the island, Princess Izzy stepped off of Bubbles and began to search the island for Shimmer the unicorn.  

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess named Izzy. She wore a rainbow dress, bedazzled in sparkling diamonds. Izzy lived in a dazzling, glass castle that glowed rainbow colors in the light.

Princess Izzy had a trusty pet unicorn named Shimmer.  Shimmer had soft white fur and a beautiful rainbow mane that waved in the wind. 

About The Author Lydia Lanzel is currently a senior at Wrightstown High School. She loves all of her classes but excels in science and math, and plans on going to college to be a surgeon or a mortuary director. Lydia loves acting and she participates in the One Act play along with the school musical. She loves to play with her three puppies Frodo, Sammy, and Pippin, and plays guitar. She also loves to spend time with her best friend Mattea.

Princess Izzy hugged Amber and Shimmer together.  

Princess Izzy, Shimmer, and Amber all found Bubbles and rode through the ocean back to the rainbow island.  

Princess Izzy thought about how Amber must have felt on her island.  She couldn't imagine how lonely she was with no one to play with.  Princess Izzy knew that it was important to always be kind to everyone, no matter what they have done.  

As they swam through the ocean, they told jokes and laughed.  They even planned playdates together.  They were all so excited to get back home, and Princess Izzy, Bubbles, and Shimmer were so glad that they found a new friend.

As Izzy walked through the lonely island, she found a dark cave. She called out, "Shimmer! Shimmer! Are you in there?". Shimmer called back, "Princess Izzy!", and emerged from the cave. Izzy was so happy that she could finally see Shimmer again. Just then, a stranger emerged from the cave. She was a black sparkly unicorn.

Princess Izzy was very kind to the black unicorn. She said, "Amber, it's okay. You just needed a friend. Don't worry, my island has a lot of friends! Would you like to come and live on my island? You can even live in the castle with us!".

The black unicorn said, "My name is Amber. I'm sorry that I took Shimmer. My island is very lonely, and I have no friends here. Every day, I sit in my cave, waiting for someone to show up to my island and play with me".

Amber the unicorn was so thankful.  She said, "Oh my goodness! That would be wonderful.  I will have so many new friends to play with all day long.  Thank you Princess Izzy".  

Izzy was inside painting one day when Shimmer decided to go out to the fields to frolick and look for magical treasures.  Izzy said, "Okay Shimmer! You go frolick in the fields while I paint.  After I am done painting, I will come and find you, and we can look for magical treasures together!".  

Shimmer was missing!  Princess Izzy knew that she had to find her right away.   Above Shimmer's collar, Izzy saw a trail of black magic that lead to the beach.  Princess Izzy knew what she had to do.  

After Izzy was done creating her masterpiece, she left the castle to go to the field.  When she arrived at the field, Shimmer was no where to be found.  Princess Izzy called out, "Shimmer! Shimmer! Where are you?", but there was no response.  After walking around the field, Izzy found Shimmer's sparkly collar lying in the grass.  

When Izzy got to the beach, she found her pet dolphin, Bubbles.  Izzy said, "Bubbles! Shimmer the unicorn is missing, and we must find her.  Is there any way that you can help?".  

When Amber the unicorn arrived at the rainbow island, she saw how beautiful it was.  It was not lonely like her island.  It was bright and happy.  There was always sunshine, and there were fields of flowers that made the island smell wonderful.  Amber thanked Izzy once again for inviting her to the island.  

Princess Izzy, Shimmer, and Amber all lived in the castle together.  Izzy even built a pool in the castle so that Bubbles could play with them too!  Every night, they ate dinner together and talked about how happy they were to have a new friend.
