Head of School Welcome

Welcome to the Summer Term at Treverbyn! Hopefully the weather will be kind to us and we will all enjoy some sunshine.

As ever this is a very busy term. All the dates for upcoming events are on the school website and are included in this newsletter. We try never to cancel or postpone events unless we absolutely have to as we understand how frustrating this is especially for working parents who may have booked time off. Please understand though, that we are not always able to predict the weather, Treverbyn does seem to have its own climate!

Our children have been working so hard this term (and all year!) for the national tests and checks. Thank you for all the support you have given them with their practicing and revising, we know they will do us all proud with their effort and commitment.

We are seeing an increase in lateness this term. It is imperative that children are in school on time each day. They can miss the teacher's introduction to lessons and may also feel emabarrased having to enter the classroom late. Persistent lateness can add up to considerable amounts of learning lost and can be a serious disadvantage to your child.
Please DO NOT park on the zigzagged lines beside the school gates. The lines are there to keep our children and families safe. Please also be mindful of others when parking. Thank you.
