While celebrating the EUROPEAN GREEN WEEK on ETWINNING, that is our contribution to the 2021 EWWR, we reflected on the food waste.
It was a bad surprise to discover how much food we throw away every day. But we also undestood that it is possible and even simple to reduce this waste and if necessary to reuse food remains in many ways.
The one we liked best was to cook wonderful tasteful recipes starting from what we didn't eat at lunch, or that was still in our fridge, getting old.
And we collected some of these recipes. Since they start from leftovers, the ingredients may vary and their quantities aren't precise . And, as we are not great chefs you won't find precise indications , but we are sure you will be able to prepare these recipes all the same

Pandoro Balls


Method

-make the pandoro with small pieces
-add the cream
-work until you get a wet dought
-make the little balls with the dought
swirl the balls in cocao
-let them in the fridge for one hour

Ingredients
-two hundred grams pandoro
-sixty milliliters liquid fresh cream
- a spoonful of powdered sugar
-uns weetened cocao powder

Method

1 melt the chocolate with butter
2 Add the cereals and mix
3 pour the mixture in a mould
4 put in the freezer for 15 minutes
5 take the cake out of the freezer
6 garmish with small pieces of chocolate
