GROWTH - It means increase in size , height and weight i.e quantitative changes. It can be easily observed and measured , its an intrinsic process . It is a part of development . eg- increase in height , weight .

DEVELOPMENT - It is a series of changes which an organism undergoes in passing from an embryonic state to maturity . It is an orderly progression of change towards maturity . growth stops after some period but development goes on.
eg. if we measure height of the child then we are dealing with growth but when we the child is able to keep the object on high place or is able to write with pen then we are dealing with growth.
