Here are some of the KS2 curriculum aims we are working towards for this half term:

--- Human and physical geography.
Describe and understand key aspects of

physical geography (including: climate zones, rivers, mountains, volcanoes and the water cycle)

human geography (including: types of settlement and land use and economic activity)

--- Geographical skills and fieldwork.
use maps, atlases, globes and digital/computer mapping to locate countries and describe features studied

--- Locational knowledge.
name and locate counties and cities of the United Kingdom, geographical regions and their identifying human and physical characteristics, key topographical features (including hills, mountains, coasts and rivers), and land-use patterns; and understand how some of these aspects have changed over time
This book will suggest week-by-week tasks for you to work through. To complete the tasks you can:
- Create a copy of this e-book and edit it with your answers and working.
- Create your own e-book and present your work as you wish.
- Draw pictures or write your answers and take pictures to email to Mr Kirby or Ms Stacey.
- If you have access to a printer, print your work and edit it in pen.m
