Thailand is a Southeast Asian country. It's known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha.
The area of Thailand is 513,120 km2. Its territory is in the form of fertile lowland because it is fed by the Chao-Phraya River (in the middle).
Social Situation
Most of the population of Thailand are Thai and Burmese, the rest are of Chinese descent and Malays.

Economic Situation
The economic activities of the Thai population are generally in the fields of agriculture, forestry, mining and industry. Thailand is one of the largest rice barns or rice producers in Southeast Asia. The forest products are teak wood. Thailand's main mining products are tin and manganese. The main industries are textiles, cement and electronics.
The Philippines, officially the Republic of the Philippines, is an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia.
 It is situated in the western Pacific Ocean, and consists of about 7,640 islands, that are broadly categorized under three main geographical divisions from north to south: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. 
Geographical Features
The Philippines is an archipelago. The largest islands are Luzon Island and Mindanao Island. The Philippines region has many mountains because it belongs to a series of Pacific Circum Mountains. The highest peak is Mount Apo with an altitude of 2,954 above sea level.



Social Situation
The majority of the population of the Philippines are Tagalog and Tebuano, the rest are of Chinese and Spanish descent. The religion adopted by the majority of the population of the Philippines is Catholicism.
Economic Situation
The economic activities of the Filipino population are generally in the fields of agriculture, mining and industry. Philippine agriculture produces rice, coconut, abaca (manila fiber), and sugar. The Philippines produces mining goods in the form of cobalt, copper, gold, iron ore, and petroleum.
