You can insert "Word Art" to make the Drawing stand out a little more.

From your Google Drive. Go to NEW, then MORE, and then Google DRAWINGS

Insert a Diagram. Choose from: Grid Hierarchy Timeline Process Relationship Cycle

We are choosing "Timeline" and can also choose how many events along the timeline we want to have. 

Right Click on the screen and go to BACKGROUND, then choose a COLOR

The Tools Menu Bar allows you to insert Lines, Shapes, a Text Box and Images.

Stretch the Palette by clicking on and dragging the triangle located at the bottom right hand corner of the palette, and drag it to the right.

In the Text Box you can...

INSERT AN IMAGE Choose your source (say from the web) and type what you are looking for in the Search Bar. Then either double click or Click once and then click INSERT.

If you have the Bitmoji Extension, you can insert yourself into your Google Drawing, and even insert a "call out" to show the Bitmoji saying something or thinking something.

You can type into any shape

The RED lines pop up to align you to the middle of a page

The BLUE lines pop up to show equal distances between shapes

You can make a graphic organizer and share it with students

You can always copy a single event area, and paste for more events.
