I like art and I worked hard at making sure the colors were even and didn't run into each other.

I learned about how to create new colors by mixing colors together. I also learned about proportions when making my house. 

At home I love to play with my dog. He likes me to play with him in the yard. I also like playing legos with my brother. At the weekends I like to bake with my mom.

I love to go to Phys Ed because it's super fun. I really like playing baseball with Mrs. Smith and trying new sports. Recently we tried volleyball and I was really good at it.

Today I made a house out of a milk carton. I painted mine the same as my real house. I had to mix different colors together. It was hard to paint in the corners because I didn't want to leave any white bits showing.

My first goal is to read a chapter book by myself before the end of the year.

This goal is important because I like to read and chapter books have the best stories.

What will it look like when you achieve this goal?

My second goal is to get better at adding and subtracting numbers in my head.

This goal is important because I will be able to do math faster.

This is some of my best work because I was able to use a computer to create a chart.

I learned about the pets my classmates have. I also learned how to "see" math in different ways.

The Witches book review

This is my reading reflection from December, which I wrote in Book Creator. We read The Witches by Roald Dahl in class – it is a very funny book but also a bit scary sometimes! I like reading Roald Dahl books and I'm hoping to read all of his books by the end of the school year.
