Why I want to be a teacher?
I want to be a teacher to make a positive, safe, and uplifting environment for students to learn in. My Mentor Teacher for Student Teaching is Mrs. Griffin has made a big impact on my experience within just the first two weeks that I was her.
I'm a very motivated person. I can use this in the classroom by motivating my students to get their work done, work with others, and value respect.
I have not always been a confident person, but I have gained confidence in myself in the past year. I can use this in my classroom by having the students do activities for them to gain more confidence and show them that teachers do not always have it together.
I have always been a very kind person. The reason for this is because you never know what someone is going through so you need to always be kind. I think this is important to apply in the classroom to show students to always do the same.
