In 2101, one century after the first appearance of the corona virus, the situation has severely grown and hurt the humanity and the society. Humans are now a days used to the loneliness and the social distancing, it has now became the standards of life. Not only life is sad and colorless, but huge inequalities has been caused in the society by a horrifying and selfish government. Now each country is separated and has two sides. One where reigns poverty, fear, disorder and survival. This side is always called “unvaccinated”, and it normally takes on 70% of the country. Meanwhile in the remaining 30% of the country, governors, politicians and businessmen live in peace, in a nice dome where reigns love and respect. This side is called the “vaccinated”. The virus is so powerful now a days, even vaccinated people can catch it, but they cannot pass it on to other vaccinated people, so the richer men in the country built a whole dome for themselves, leaving the poorer to rot in the insides.

I am Ole Gunnar and I am the son of the president Of New England, Josep Maria Bartomeou. Since a young Child, I learned to stay in my bubble, in my dome of peace with my friends and my loving family, without seeing what is in the outside. One day, in high school, the principle that we all loved was taken away by the police forces and he was thrown out of the dome for political reasons, this day was the first day I saw the dome open, we all had huge masks and a whole anti-radiation outfit for the occasion. It was a huge moment for me, I was a curious boy back in my childhood, and we never spoke about the outside at school, at home, on tv or with my friends. It was like a forbidden subject to talk about. I always imagined it as a magic place with loving and caring imaginary creatures. When they opened the dome, I was intrigued to see that it was all grey and that principle Makey was begging and crying to stay. All of a sudden, a huge hand covered my eyes and took me away, I first thought I was kidnapped, I tried to scream, but I couldn’t, my head was put in a muzzle and I quickly went to sleep.

I strangely woke up in my living room, on my couch with a nice and warm cup of tea. I still had my memory of what happened earlier on, and I was quite worried. I instinctively went to my father’s office but he wasn’t there, as always. I had the impression that something was hidden from me, something very serious. I ran out of my house and gathered all of my friends to organize a secret expedition outside of the dome. Raheem, a good friend of mine, succeeded in digging a hole underneath it. We had supplies, radioactive suits and masks and we were ready to finally discover what was outside, what was been hidden from us all these years. A grey and hot world, in ruins were the first thing we saw. Corpses on the floor, being eaten by rats and roaches, it was shocking. In a few minutes, we went from perfect to chaos, from fantasy to reality.
