The Lion That Lied

Cub was walking home in the rain with his head down. He decided to take a shortcut home and he started walking down a dark cloudy alleyway.

Cub saw a shadow, it creeped closer and closer. Then Cub saw the tiger it was bigger than a mountain.

The next day, Cub felt bad for what he did when stealing the candy from the other lion so he decided to help someone else and be nice.

Cub walked over to an old grandma. He did not lie, and asked proudly and confidently if she needed help.

The mayor swooped in and scared of the lion.

Cub took the candy and ran out of there like a kite when it's very windy.

I will give you 5 pieces of candy if you help

In the end Cub was ecstatic that he made a friend. Later that day 5 more people called. Cub was jumping for joy. Cub was finally happy.

Cub knew that nobody would trust him even if he did a good deed, so he didn't even bother.

One Sunday evening, Cub saw a small helpless lion struggling with his homework. Cub thought it over and decided he would help him.

Cub walked home. He put his hand over his chest, it felt like his heart was beating out of his chest. Cub knew he had to stop lying.

The old lion hit Cub with her purse and walked off with a frown.

Dude your the bravest lion I know. Do you wanna be my friend.

Cub didn’t know how to react, he has never had a friend before.

One young lion called Cub lived in a small cottage on the top of a hill steeper than the Grand Canyon. He was very untrustworthy and selfish, but it made him happy

From now on I’m not going to lie even if my life depends on it.

Cub wanted to make friends and be happy, but he could not make friends or be happy if he kept on lying. Cub tried to stop lying but he just can’t help it.
