It was just a regular day at school in Tacoma, Washington. Nina always loved school, but there some parts she disliked. For example, well of course detention. But she didn’t exactly get in it often but she still had been there and disliked every bit of it. She was walking over to her first class of the day with her best friend, John. John and Nina have been best friends since they could remember. John has always been very nice to Nina. They would rarely ever fight. Ever since they were little they would consider each other brother and sister because they were so much alike and they both care for each other.
While Nina and John were walking to their first class a very tall women appeared right in front of them. Than the tall women simply said, “Nina T’Chae, I need your help it’s very important.” Whispered the tall women, thinking that John couldn’t hear a thing she was saying.
“Ma’am I’m sorry but, I need to head to class.” Nina replied in the best way she could even if other thoughts were going on in her head.
“Well I hope you have a great day.” Then she tried to walk past her but, then the women grab her arm.
“You must hear what I am trying to tell you, mankind and nature are in danger.” The tall women said fiercely.
“Let go of me, look I don’t want to help you ok?!” Yelled Nina.

Nina silently walked home with John as he has his arm around her. Then John looked behind them.
“Nina! Its that homeless weirdo lady again!” Yelled John.
“Well I don't know if homeless is the right word, but your right. I won't let it bother me anymore.” Replied Nina.
“Come let’s go to some homework.” Nina added.
“Alright, sounds good!” Squealed John.

Later that night, Nina and John were just working on there science project. Then suddenly they start to hear a bang at their door. “Wonder if that's Mom.” Nina suggested.
“Let's go see.” Replied John.
They walk together down the hall as they grab each other tightly, full of fright of who might at the door. “You again, get off my doorstep!” yelled Nina.
“Look I don't want trouble I just want your help.” Said the tall women shivering in the cold.
“Why do you want my help. I don't know you and I don't want to get involved in it.” Replies Nina as she shuts the door.
“Wait! At least let me explain.” Says the tall women holding the door so Nina can’t shut it.

“Thank you for letting me in.” Said the tall women as she was taking off her heavy coat, and stomping her feet to get the snow off.
“Now let me explain myself. I am Najara, Queen of the Amazon, protector of nature and mankind. “Najara continued. “I have come to you because my stone has been taken.“ Najara said with a long pause.
“A stone? Why is this stone so important to you?” Nina asked.

“A stone? Why is this stone so important to you?” Nina asked.
“Well the Aliysoul stone is important to me, if it’s taken by a dark force or covered in darkness, mankind and nature will cease to exist.” Sniffled Najara.
“Oh my! That’s horrible, but why me?” Nina said feeling like she has been waiting for this moment for her whole life.
“My dear, you are in the prophecy. And if you decline my quest your family will be in danger. So think carefully and choose wisely.meet me at State Street in 1 hour.” Najara threatened as she disappeared into thin air.

“Well John, I think that I need to to this or else my family will be in danger and I can't have that.” Said Nina almost regretting of saying that.
“Nina I don't think you should go, it seems suspicious and I don't trust her.” Replied John.
“How can you that. She needs my help and if I don't, mankind, nature and my family will be at risk! I have to go.” Continued Nina. “she said for me to meet her at state street. Goodbye John.”

After saying goodbye, John hugged her tightly like she would be gone forever, but Nina felt like she had more hope with John’s hug.
As Nina walked out the door, she had a feeling in her stomach, a feeling in which is she regretting taking Najara’s request? The feeling of being hopeful, or doubtful? The feeling of in which will this be a life or death situation?
As she walked on the street, she saw Najara, and waved, but not that excited wave, more of a wave with question. Is she regretting all of this?
