My Radical Art Book

Our third lesson was about shading and using our creativity and shape knowledge to make a robot. Wile making the robot we all tried to make it look 3D by adding shading. I think that this was a very fun task because we could make whatever type of robot we wanted. During this lesson I really liked how we got the freedom to do whatever we wanted as long as it was a robot with shading.

Lesson three of our project was about learning how to shade and also using shapes effectively. We drew a robot as the final product for this assignment, which I thought was pretty cool because of all the options we had for the design. I really liked how we could draw anything as long as it was a robot with shading.

In this lesson we learned how to use Sketches Pro. This is a very powerful app that I had only used a couple times before. I found this app to have a lot of new features that I had not used before, which made it even more exciting for me. Our final product for this lesson was a Block letter drawing of a word that we thought was somewhat related to our project. (I.e. Maker, Project, Drawing, or even our name) This was not a hard task, but it let us experiment with lines and such.

Now, a little about me. Hi I’m Jonah, I go to a small school called secondary. I’m in a ram called PLP. PLP is a project based program which means that we do projects instead of assignments. I really enjoy learning in a program like this, because I feel like its down to the point. In our most resent project we were tasked on making this book! Over the past few weeks we have also been learning about how to create these books, which went hand in hand with drawing. In our final part of this project we were tasked with creating a logo for a company we made up. I made a Field Hockey company because that is something hat I am very passionate about. I made my logo a cool shape because I wanted to keep it simple. I think it turned out quite well considering I only had a couple days to make it. In my logo I tried to incorporate all of the tools and aspects of Sketches Pro that I have learned in this project.

Our second lesson in this project was about doodling and using all the tools to create something awesome. The awesome thing that we were drawing was an emoji. I really liked drawing something that I was familiar with because I knew how it should look. During this lesson we were thought how to shade and use all of our creativity while drawing.
