GNOCCHI WITH TOMATO SAUCE
Ingredients:
-red potatoes
-egg 1
-flour 00 300g
-salt
-tomatoes 5
-olive oil
-basil
-garlic


Method:
To prepare gnocchi with tomato sauce, we start from the potatoes. We boil them in water and then we crush them. We add an egg and the flour and we mix them until we obtain a smooth mixture. We cut little pieces with a knife.
In a pot we put some water and boil it. When the water is boiling, we add a little salt and we put the gnocchi into it. It takes a short time to cook them and when they come up the surface of water, they are cooked and we drain them.
The tomato sauce:
While the gnocchi are cooking, we heat the tomato sauce in a pan with some oil and a clove of garlic. We put the sauce on the gnocchi.
At the end we can add some cheese, basil and olive oil.
