I am a laboratory hematologist. I test the blood of patients to discover the reasons why they are suffering and I try to help them feel better.<br/>I usually check some specific types of blood analysis, such as blood and leucocytes count and blood clotting. I check and if the results are right and interpret them. In case of doubt, I check the blood on the microscopic slides, where the cells are colored with special substances. Nowadays I am also testing the swabs used to diagnose Covid 19 and all what is necessary to report this infection.<br/>
