Welcome back! I have missed you and I am so excited to show you what we are going to do next in our Jungle Beat. Have you been playing your jungle drum and shaker? I hope so! Well, before we get started, what should we do first? Did you say sing our Hello Song? Should we do the color song? Alrighty, lets get ready!

Today, I thought it would be fun to learn a new song that we can sing together. Do you know the song, "Oh Mr. Sun?" Just click on the video button and listen to the song. When you think you know it, sing along with them.

Did you notice what instruments the kids were playing in the video? If you said drum and shaker, you are right!

Do you like it when the sun is shining? What is your favorite thing to do when it is sunny outside? I love to sit outside in the sunshine and read a book.

Now it's time to see what instrument we are going to make today. Do you have any thoughts on what it will be? You are going to make an instrument that sounds like a gentle rain is falling outside. It is called a rainstick.

Just watch the video and they will show you how to make your rainstick.

You will need some items from around your house

paper towel tube
aluminum foil
Construction paper
paints or markers
masking tape
rice or corn kernels
decorations - yarn, paper, stickers
scissors
