I hope you are having fun with our music activities. Have you been playing your shakers and your drum?

I thought we might do a lesson book with some of our favorite songs that we have sung throughout the year.

First let's sing our hello song but this time it is the other Hello song. Let's see if you remember this one!

Where did your bubblegum get stuck? On your nose, on your toes, in your hair, on your shoes? Did you teach your family this song too? It is so fun, don't you think?

Since you are pretty tired after the last song, let's try a song that you can sit down for. It is called "From Your Seat." Do you know a musical word that rhymes or sounds like the word seat? Think hard. We say it all of the time in music class. Did you think of it? Did you say 'beat?" Well if you did, you are right! This is a song that you sit down for and keep a steady beat. Can you clap your hands three times, stomp your feet three times, slap you knees three times, snap your fingers three times and tap your toes three times? If you can do all of these, you are ready for the song "From Your Seat!" Let's go!
