MAKING ELECTRICITY WITH OUR TRASH
The project we are talking about today is the one called “Making electricity with trash”, this project is such a good thing for the environment, economy and people because it’s easier, faster, and cheaper than the normal electricity process, it’s a better opportunity for our planet because if we use our trash as our main or secondary energy source the planet will be pleased with us because contamination will be less of a problem and a lot of our problems will be gone. I also think we should implement this method of getting energy because people could get together and try and get a lot of our trash to save our city, state, country and planet from contamination.
In Sinaloa we make a lot of trash if we want to be more specific we make 3,000 tons a day, which if you didn’t know is a lot just imagine a week in Sinaloa 21,000 tons of trash and that’s only Sinaloa were there’s a lot of people but not that many, now imagine a city like CDMX in which there’s at least 8.5 million people, they make 13,000 tons of trash per day which is sufficient to fill up the Zocalo which is very big obviously just imagine that much of trash just in that city of a big country and now imagine that country of a big world so we know that there’s a lot of trash in the world why not using it well countries like Sweden are already doing it and we should too.

The purpose of using trash to create energy is because in that way we help the environment by reusing the waste we throw away every day, that help us all in getting less contamination.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
WAYS TO IMPLEMENT THIS IN OUR CITY
This flow chart shows first, the material that we use which is a tube, a flamethrower, trash, and a plate. We will put the metal plate in a regular surface so it won’t fall when we use the flamethrower (we also need to do it far from our city so people won’t smell anything), next we will put the trash on top of the metal plate and turn on the flamethrower, after that trash will produce methane gas (CH4) which will rise up on the tube and generate heat which will create electricity.
A way to implement our invention in Culiacán is a place in the trash truck where the machine converts garbage into energy and every time they grab an organic trash bag they put it on the machine and it does its job to turn trash into energy. Since there is no more storage for energy in the garbage truck, it must release space in a specific place so the trash trunk might continue working.
