Do you like funny books? Well, I want to introduce you to my favorite author and someone that I find very funny. His name is Theodor Seuss, or as most of you know, Dr. Seuss. He is a famous America writer that has written more than 60 books.

One of the reasons I find Dr. Suess funny is because he makes up a lot of his words in his books. A few examples of his made up words are, zummers, nizzards, yekko, spazzim, wumbus and yuzz! I find all of these very funny and listening to other people try to say them is even funnier!

Another reason I love Dr. Seuss is because everyone can enjoy his books that have been made into movies. Moms, Dads, brothers, sisters and even pets can enjoy a good Dr.Suess movie. Some of my favorites are, The Lorax, The Cat in the Hat, The Grinch and Horton Hears a Who.
In my opinion there are so many to choose from.

In closing the many reasons Dr. Seuss is my favorite author is because he is funny, he makes up his own words and his books are so cool they have been turned into awesome movies that I love to watch with my parent, brothers and my dog, Sunny!
