Simile Poem
Loading...
Classes as boring as a game of chess
School days as repetitive as a ticking clock
Math as difficult as a puzzle
Poems as simple as building blocks
But are building blocks really that simple?
As trapped as a prisoner
As bored as a prison guard

so I wrote a haiku for you. Unfortunately, I'm not the most talented in this area, and after trying for several evenings, I was still only able to come up with the first two lines... I guess I'll just share what I've got so far, then.
"Sun and moon rejoice
Birds of dawn sing songs anew"...
Wait, don't say a word, I think the final line is coming to me... Yes, how about....
"Far from home, with you."

Metaphor
My mind is a labyrinth. Not just a normal maze, it’s constantly changing it’s paths. Thoughts and happy emotions as the humans running through my mind. Minotaurs as stress and obsession crashing through doors and walls, killing all the humans. Icarus and Daedalus as my mind trying to find a way to escape the stress and jealousy of the confusing maze of thoughts.
Haikus
1) The suns warm at dawn
The stars are pretty at night
Moons bright as a star
2) it’s repetitive
Time ticking by so slow
Repeating again
3) “You and me always?”
“Forever, and you know that.”
“Yeah, us forever.”
Sound poem
“Night”
Tickt, Tickt, Tickt,
Whrrrrrrrrr click click. Whrrrrrrrr click click.
Sigh..
Rustle rustle
Sigh..
Tickt, tickt, tickt, tickt,
Creaaaak… creaaaaak…
Bark Bark
Ugh..
Sigh..
Beedededeep beep beep.
Beedededeep. Beep beep…
Imagery
“Love”
It feels so nice, Someone loving you back
Feeling their arms around you, squeezing you tight,
Hearing their voice, hearing their laugh.
It’s a nice feeling, it makes me feel happy
Its a warm feeling that i’ll never understand how to describe.
Like nostalgia but for the present, like hoping the moment would never end.
I’ll never understand how to describe emotions.
Especially love.
“Society”
How is it so tough to use the right pronouns? You’d have no clue what it feels like to be constantly be called “she” and “her”. Its like getting a test back thinking you did really good just to see you got a 7/20 Or when you are looking forward to fun plans just to find out they got canceled. Like disappointment. Nothings worse than getting misgendered by your favourite person, Just imagine it, it hurts.
Experience Poem
The smell of the salt
Wind playing with my long hair
The waves jumping up and hitting me as i laugh and run from the big splash
High above the water on the corner of the wave wall
The people driving by think we must be insane
Just me and my dad being dumb
Having fun in a windstorm.
we’re soaked as we drive home to a nice warm house.
Sitting by the fire and making dumb jokes.
How i wish to be a kid again
