Self Portrait Poem My self portrait is very normal I’m an average high schooler Stressed, depressed, lemon zest All my thoughts right now are “Get it done so i can do something else” It’s a normal high school mindset

Our Times Times change as we do Pandemics blow through the world like wind Times fly by as fast as planes Technology evolves as fast as a ____ Fashion changes like seasons Social media plagues everyone like sickness Trends come and go like seasons

Extended Metaphor Poem Earth is similar to time in many ways Because of how time affects earth. It starts at the core with just lava and fire Once it erupts, it slowly turns to rock. Rock is eroded by the oceans. It becomes smoother when washed over by the waves. Because over time, Even bedrock can be turned to dust.
