A shark has a huge, torpedo shaped body with rough skin. Sharks can be 13-16 feet long and up to 2400 pounds. Sharks can be found in all oceans around the world. Some sharks give birth to pups and others lay eggs. When a shark loses a tooth another grows in its place. New teeth begin to grow in 20 hours.
Sharks eat fish and sea mammals (like dolphins and seals) and even such prey as turtles and seagulls. 
Sharks can lose up to 30,000 teeth in a lifetime!

A dolphin has a large, torpedo shaped body with smooth skin. A dolphin can be 8 feet long and up to 660 pounds. Dolphins can be found in all oceans and 5 types live in freshwater rivers. Dolphins give birth to babies called calves.
