Hi Kindergartens!

I can't wait to meet you! I hope you had a fun summer and got to eat LOTS of ice cream. Before I see you in class, I thought you may like to learn a little bit about me. I am so excited to have you in my class this year. We are going to have such a fun year of learning together.

This is me when I was in kindergarten!

When I was a kid, I lived in Seattle. That isn't too far away from here - only about a 3 hour car ride.

Once I got older, I came to Portland to go to college. I went to college so that I could learn all of the things I needed to know to teach you!

When I was in college, I ran track. That means that I ran around in circles as fast as I could. I still like running and I think I'm still pretty fast. Ask me to race you at recess one day if you want to :)

Now my favorite things to do are go for runs with my dog, cook, and go skiing!

This is my dog Jax. He is a very good boy but has a lot of energy!

My favorite food is pizza!

My favorite color is pink!

And my favorite place is the beach!

I can't wait to meet you all and learn about YOU next week! Have so much fun the rest of the summer. We are going to have the best year EVER!
