Pre-Session
The orientation week was spent discovering the session sylllabus, familiarising oneself with the platform, and making choices about settings and tools.

  • We updated our profile and connected badges to a Backpack,
  • We completed a Needs Assessment Survey,
  • We answered a questionnaire choosing our tools.
  • We created a video tutorial of the course lay-out.

Week 1
— Getting Acquainted
Each week started with a live meeting on Zoom, where a slide presentation was shared.
We got acquainted with our companions on this learning journey with avatars.
We shared our backgrounds with mindfulness and our expectations of the course.
We watched two videos,
a lecture by Jon Kabat-Zinn on the nature, the significance and the benefits of mindfulness,
and a TED talk by Judson Brewer on breaking bad habits.
