We collaborate with our friends of Elementary School in Olomouc. They observe the lime as well, so we can share the data together and we can compare them.

LOOK AT THE BUDS
We chose one south facing branch that was low enough and marked it with a ribbon
We marked 4 buds on this branch that we will observe with the nail polish :-)

We observed the buds twice a week:
- For each bud, we recorded at what stage it is:
• “dormant” if the bud is unchanged.
• “swelling” if the bud is getting bigger.
• “budburst” the first day you see the green tips of
leaves.
