40 of our students had perfect attendance this quarter. they recieved a free sundae from McDonald's and their name announced at Wiley world. this means they were never late, stayed all day and never missed a day. I told them it is something they should be extremely proud of during a pandemic!

attending parent teacher conferences either by zoom or in person is essential to your child's success at school. teachers will be sending home these dates and times soon if they have not already. parent teacher conference day is on december 10th.

BIG NEWS FOR EVERY STUDENT IN WILEY WORLD starting in December during library time!!!

having fun while learning is what we do in wiley world!

we continue to strive to make every student know they belong!

a special thanks to glenna for all her hard work before, during and after the fun run to make this fundraiser successful! (GLenna &amp; her daughter in photo)

the wonderful wiley students raised $18,791 for wiley during the fun run! that is the highest profit i have seen in four years! thank you to all of our students and families!!!

6th grade going on a scavenger hunt finding evidence using good resources during w.i.n. time!

We notice and wonder and write in 5th grade during ela instruction. We even do it on the wiley trails! nature meets nurturing of lifelong learning!

starting the day right with positivity project! social emotional learning and learning positive character traits is how we stay positive even when times are difficult.

real world experiences using calculators with exponents in 6th grade!

math stations in 5th grade help to individualize instruction for every student!

combination of science and art makes learning fun!

games reinforcing math fluency in 6th grade makes learning fun!

providing windows and doors to students through novels in ela. bud not buddy

Just a reminder... a pandemic is not just hard for adults it's also hard on kids. please check on your children and talk to them about their struggles. "we have all survived our hardest days so far!" thank you for being great families! let us know if your family is in need of anything. "it takes a village to raise children." we raise "lifelong learners" and "responsible citizens" in wonderful wiley!
