Coronavirus

Sometimes I have to cry
don't know why

this coronavirus is making us sad
Our hearts are in pain.

Yeah right now we have to wear masks
Right now we get checked.

But I know that life will get better.
soon we can be happy again.

All My Homies Hate 2020
An Original Song about How Much 2020 Absolutely Sucks
Sophie Scholl, Grace Even, and Jack Ayala
*This is absolutely intended to be a joke, so please don't judge us too hard
With the growing inherent dangers of going outside, attending social gatherings, or realistically anything other than staying at home we are faced with fact the most of us are relying on ourselves for entertainment. While there is nothing wrong with utilizing this time to catch up on your current shows or searching for new ones, I also can't think of a more perfect opportunity to focus on yourself. You've got endless time to start exploring your hobbies and passions, for me, it's drawing. I've been focusing on stepping out of my comfort zone when it comes to drawing by participating in inktober. Each day you are presented a new prompt for a drawing, for example, wisp was the word for October 2nd. You can draw anything you want with this prompt as it is up to you to either take it literally or come up with an imaginative depiction of the word. Through even just the past six days, the subjects have been vastly different and typically require a much more diverse set of techniques to complete. I've been focusing on coming up with more indirect interpretations of the prompt list and attempting to step out of my comfort zone is far as drawing style. Experimenting with drawing composition, angles/perspective, and even color for the first time. I think what I'm trying to say is that there is no better time to step out of your comfort zone because you are likely to be the only one watching. Explore your hobbies, passions, and interests because we're gonna be here a while... have fun with it.
