PRAISE AND CRITIQUE
“WONDER”, for us, It’s a book that everyone should read because it contains so many important messages. There are many important themes in "Wonder." There is fear of the different, or of those who do not resemble us; there is bullying; the courage to start a new path and the desire to face the world by being oneself. For us this book treats an important theme that not everyone could be informed. We’re talking about the fear of diversity. At the first time all the Auggie’s class mates doesn’t want to talk to him, they doesn’t want to sits near to him and they are very disgusted with him. Only because he had a malformation. in our opinion, sometimes people don’t know how to behave in front of this type of situation and maybe at first glance they could be scared but nobody can judge a person for this. the appearance doesn’t determined a people. We have to be always kind with people because we’ll never know what to aspect.
On the back cover of the book there is a sentence that we liked a lot: do not judge a person by his face. it means that if we see a person with a deformation or who has an ugly face we must not be scared and run away or make fun of him but we must be good to him because ugly people are not unpleasant and here I can also connect to another proverb : "Appearances are deceiving".

RECOMMENDATION AND RATING
We recommend this book to all children that who are afraid to show themselves because they think they are ugly. This book can teach to them that they shouldn’t be afraid of themselves and that they have to ignore all critiques. But The most important thing for us is that this book, can also teach to children that they mustn’t be afraid of people different from us.
So, for us the final mark is 8/10.
