1. Saraguros
The Saraguro people are located in southern Ecuador, in the provinces of Loja and Zamora Chinchipe. Studies reveal that the Saraguros were a population group product of a migration forced by the Inca expansion.
The clothing of the Saraguro, in general, is black, the Saraguro man wears the poncho, the pants, the cuzhma, the sheepskin coat, a leather belt with knobs and silver buckles and a wool hat. The woman generally wears an anaco, a skirt, a sash, a cloth, a silver tupo, silver earrings, necklaces and beaded fabrics, and a wool hat.

The Tsáchila indigenous people, traditionally known by the Castilian term Colorados for their custom of painting their bodies and hair red with achiote; live in the province of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas.
The man's clothing is made up of the manpe tsanpa (tsáchila skirt), a red belt, coloured scarves around the neck and a cotton crown on the head. The women's dress consists of a colourful skirt (tunán), in wide and narrow stripes, they do not use a belt to encircle their waist, on the back and tied around the neck they wear a light-coloured fabric.
