Capitolo Uno

C'era una volta un grande re. Questo re aveva due figli. Uno era maschio e si chiamava Triton e l'altra era femina e si chiamava Ursula. Questo regno era sott'acqua. I cittadini erano tutte creature dell'oceano, conosciute anche come merpeople.

Chapter One

Once Upon a time, there lived a great king. This king had two children. One, a boy, was named Triton and the other, a girl, was named Ursula. This kingdom and its subjects all lived underwater. The citizens were all creatures of the ocean, also know as merpeople.

Capitolo Due

Ursula e Triton erano diversi in molti modi. Tritone era molto ambizioso e voleva diventare il prossimo re. Ursula era il secondo figlio ed era molto isolata dal resto del regno per una delle ragioni principali. Mentre il resto della sua famiglia aveva code belle e aggraziate, Ursula è nata con otto tentacoli. Una volta nata, i suoi genitori l'hanno protetta dal mondo. Non le è stato permesso di essere vista da nessuno.

Chapter Two

Ursula and Triton were different in many ways. Triton was very ambitious, and dreamed of the day that he would become the next king. Ursula was the second child, and was very isolated from the rest of the kingdom because of one major reason. While the rest of her family had beautiful, graceful tails, Ursula was born with eight tentacles. Once she was born, her parents shielded her from the world. She was not allowed to be seen by anyone.

Il re aveva paura che se il regno ha saputo che Ursula esisteva, loro hanno giudicata lei inadatta a essere regale, ha stata costretta a lasciare la sua casa. Ciò significa che la giovane principessa è stata costretta a vivere in solitudine. Interagiva solo con suo fratello, perché i suoi genitori si vergognavano di lei. È stata trascurata e dimenticata da tutti.

The king was afraid that if the kingdom knew of Ursula's existence, they would deem her unfit to be royalty, and she would be forced out of her home. This meant that the young princess was forced to live a life of solitude. She only ever interacted with her brother, for her parents were ashamed of her. She was neglected and forgotten by everyone.

Capitolo quattro

Dopo 18 anni di detenzione nella sua casa, Ursula decise di fuggire. Nel corso della sua infanzia, aveva combattuto la sua solitudine con il suo amore per l'apprendimento di cose nuove. Amava l'idea della magia e praticava da molti anni. Insegnò a se stessa ogni incantesimo che poteva ed era pronta a resistere a suo padre.

Chapter Four

After 18 years of being a prisoner in her own home, Ursula decided to make her escape. Over the course of her childhood, she had battled her loneliness with her love of learning new things. She loved the idea of magic, and had been practicing for many years. She taught her self every spell she could, and was ready to stand up to her father.

Capitolo Cinque

La sera prima dell'incoronazione di suo fratello, preparava i suoi libri e incantesimi e sgattaiolò fuori dalla sua stanza. Nuotava lungo i corridoi bui del castello reale, fino a raggiungere le porte d'ingresso. Usava la sua magia per passare attraverso le solide porte del castello e nuotò fuori nella notte. Il suo piano era di trovare un posto dove dormire nel villaggio, e poi imparare a vivere come farebbe un normale merperson.

Chapter Five

On the night before her brother's coronation, she packed up her books and spells and snuck out of her room. She swam down the dark hallways of the royal castle, until she reached the front gates. She used her magic to successfully pass through the solid castle doors, and swam out into the night. Her plan was to find a place to sleep in the village, and then hopefully learn how to live as a normal merperson would.

Capitolo Sei

Mentre viaggiava verso la città, il sole cominciava a sorgere, il che forniva sempre più luce. Quando ha arrivato, il sole del mattino si era completamente svegliato. Nuotava per le strade deserte, guardando ciò che la circondava. Ha udito i suoni a distanza degli abitanti del villaggio, mentre si preparava per la giornata.
