   In this book, you will explore reading and writing multi-digit whole numbers (less than or equal to 1,000,000) using standard form and word form.

Vocabulary Words

Standard Form is a way to write numbers using the digits 0-9.

Word Form is a way to write numbers in standard English.

A comma is used in numbers to separate each period in a large number.

In place value, a period is each group of three digits separated by commas in a multi-digit number.
