History Chance has done western and English riding, been out on the trails and played polo!

Facts 14.1 HH Andalusian Dark Bay May 31, 2016 Mare

History FireFly came home when she was 9 months old. Most of her training was completed by Jen. FireFly is willing to try most things but does not like loud noises or things like quads and tractors.

Personality FireFly is a bit more high strung and sassy. She likes to work, but not too long. FireFly is good at stuff once she understands what is expected and how something works.

Facts 14.3 HH Quarter horse Buckskin May 25, 2015 Gelding

History We bought Lynx for my one daughter when he was 3 years old. Lynx had already been there and done that with his previous owner/trainer. He has done trail rides, obstacles and adventures herding. One time he even herded cattle with the assistance of a helicopter.

Personality Lynx is a class clown and herd joker. Lynx is super silly from picking up sticks and chasing other horses to play with him, to just sitting for no reason at all. Lynx also likes to smile after he gets his treats. Lynx and Xanthos love playing together!

History Avril made her surprise entrance to us April 2015! Her mom, Snowy, was rescued and happened to be pregnant. Avril has always been loved and had the chance to do all sorts of fun activities such as trail walks, obstacles, pulling cart, sledding and also skijoring!

Personality Avril is fun loving super happy and willing to try anything! She is very outgoing and confident. If she doesn’t like something she will let you know!

History Mick was bought when he was 7 years old. Mick is trained to ride and drive. He enjoys taking new young riders for their first ride.

Personality Mick has a very easy going, laid back personality. Mick is usually the last horse in as speed isn’t his strong suit. He enjoys taking care of others and being doted on.

Facts 29 inches Miniature Horse Black April 20, 2003 Gelding

Personality Bear is an even tempered miniature horse who enjoys hanging out with the younger horses and foals. He’s like everyone’s fun uncle. Bear is the shortest mini in our program.

History Bear has been in many shows, enjoying the obstacles and costumes classes the most!

Facts 14.1 HH Appaloosa Bay Roan May 11, 2011 Mare

History Ruby was bought in 2016. Ruby had been trained by her breeder and done trails and other western riding skills. Her current owner really enjoys learning about dressage skills with Ruby.

Personality Ruby is a sweet and loving, laid back gal. She enjoys being brushed and going for rides, as long as she doesn’t have to work too hard.

Facts 16.2 HH Iberian Warmblood Wild Bay April 22, 2014 Gelding

History RipTide came to me at 3 months old. I did all his training. Together RipTide and I have done English, Western, dressage, trail rides and working equitation. We even went to an International show in 2019!

Personality RipTide is herd boss, even though he isn’t the oldest. He is, however, the tallest!

History Snowy was rescued from an auction in 2014 when we believe she was about 5 years old. We don’t know much about her past, but it appears that she was well looked after. However, the auction situation gave her a big scare and caused her to be very suspicious of everyone. Shortly after Snowy arrived, she started to show signs that she might be pregnant. On April 15, 2015 she delivered Avril!

Personality Snowy arrived very worried and super shy. It’s taken lots of patience and finally 5 years later for the first time she’s usually the first one to the gate now! Snowy is still the bottom of the pecking order, but she’s much more interactive than she used to be.

Facts 36 inches Miniature Donkey Grey August 1, 2015 Jenny

History Ezmeralda came home when she was 6 months old. She was originally bought to be a pasture-mate for Avril. They still live together now, but also with the big horses most of the year. Ezzy has had the opportunity to try all sorts fun activities such as trail walks, obstacles, pulling cart, sledding and also skijoring!

Personality Ezmeralda, being a mini donkey, comes with some attitude. She does enjoy her apple sauce and doing stuff, but on her terms. Ezzy has been known to dig in her heels when she does not wish to do whatever you’d like to do. Once she learns how to do something, she’s very good at it!

Facts 15.1 HH Andalusian Cebruno or Sooty buckskin June 11, 2013 Mare

Personality Secret is an outgoing, in charge mare. She really likes her food and can definitely be motivated by it! Secret can be unsure of new things, but if given time to think things through, she can become confident in that area.

History Secret came to us when she was 6 years old. We first met her when she was 4 but as fate would have it, she wouldn’t come home until almost two years later. The almost two years between when we met her and brought her home she spent most of that time sitting in a field doing nothing. Just before we met up with her again she went for basic restart and now we are continuing that training with her.

History We got Jackson when he was 6 years old. Jackson had suffered a serious injury to his right shoulder which ended his show career . He was sold to a client and then we bought him. Shortly after, he was injured again on his right shoulder. He was very ill and required surgery. Jackson has recovered but has a big indent on his right shoulder that will always be there.

Personality Jackson is the bottom/ middle of the pecking order. He’s not very assertive or defensive, but won’t generally allow others to push him around. He’s more the type to walk away if need be.

History Xanthos came home when he was 6 months old. Xanthos is being trained by Jen and so far enjoys trail walk adventures and being worked to be a riding horse.

Personality Xanthos has a stubborn streak but is, over all a people pleaser. He likes to do the right thing and tries really hard to make good choices. He’s also apologetic when he gets in trouble. Xanthos loves to play with Lynx, they are best buds!
