by Phoebe and Hunter
Wind Energy
How does it work?
The wind from the sun moves the wind turbines and makes electricity. The sun heats the air causing the warm and cool air to react and creates wind. This wind moves the wind turbines. The wind turbines collect energy when they move.
Why is it good?
It makes electricity which is good for the environment because it keeps our air clean and doesn't have any green house gases. Wind energy is a renewable source of energy which means it is everlasting and won't stop. It is everlasting.
