A CRUSADER AND A GIRL

As they were running, Abia was split from the rest of the people, lost and alone. She didn’t stop moving, kept running and running until she tripped and hurt her ankle. As she was sitting there in pain, a small dog came up to her and helped her as they go into hiding. 

Once upon a time, there was a young Muslim girl, named Abia. She lived in a small village located in Jerusalem with her mom and dad. But one day, the village got word that crusaders were coming, so they fled their homes.

She cautiously walks up to the man, wanting to help him, but suddenly he grabbed her arm. All she did was try and help, but he thought that she was trying to hurt him. The crusader would not let go of Abia‘s arm, the dog barking and barking. Finally she slipped out of his grasp and ran away from the city and back into the desert.

A young man named John sets of on his first ever crusade. They are well on their voyage when they meet with a Muslim ship, barely slipping away with out a sunken ship. They arrive safely in Jerusalem and set up camp, John is nervous to fight with the Muslims, but he will do anything for England.

When he returns home, he is treated for his injuries and then set free. He thought for sure he would go back to his ordinary life as a serf, but luckily, he was granted with a manor to himself.

Soon enough, the battle begins when John gets separated from the group chasing a lone Muslim soldier into a small village. The soldier ambushes him, injuring him badly.

Abia continues to run for what feels like forever, until she spots another village, quite similar to hers. So her and her dog walk in and meet a kind lady who lets them stay in her home. Abia stays there with the dog and the kind woman, safe from any danger.

While John was lying in agony on the cold cobble street, he saw a small Muslim girl walk by with a dog. She was coming closer and he was sure she was coming to hurt him, after all, she was a Muslim. So he tried to grab her but she was to slippery and slipped out of his grasp, but what if she was just trying to help him?

She finds herself in a small town, after walking in the hot sun with the dog. Abia is sneaking around town, being quiet as she can, until she hears something, a crusader. She quickly runs by, trying not to be seen, but realizes the man is injured badly. 

John is in a lot more pain when his fellow crusaders find him and bring him back to camp. They try to treat him there but his injuries were just to severe. So the crusader got sent back to his home in England.
