What does the Stegosaurus look like? The Stegosaurus was 25 feet long and it had bony plates on its back. It was green,tan, and red. It weighs 6,800 pounds and it was nine feet tall.

It eats leaves and chewed with its back teeth.It is also a herbivore and it tore leaves off trees.

The Stegosaurus became extinct 145 million years ago.The plates on the Stegosaurus's back helped control its heat.

The Stegosaurus traveled in herds. It had spikes on its back. It used its tail for defense.
