Hello, my name is Terry Yauri. The quote that I found interesting is “Art has the role of helping children become like themselves instead of more like everyone else” – Sydney Gurewitz Clemens. Most children are surrounded by art growing up, and being in school can help develop their skills with different media's and techniques that are introduced by the teacher. I have studied Visual Arts in school, but this course helped me remember the basics and the importance of developing the proper techniques to be successful in what they're making. I can create fun, challenging lesson plans that will allow the students to think critically by showing colour theory, mixing media and thinking critically about techniques they will use to develop their art form now and when they grow up.&nbsp;
