HIS STORY

In his life he met the Passionist Fathers. He later took refuge with God. He arrived at the Moricone’s monastery in the 16th of June 1911. But on the 9th of December 1911, while he was on the stairway of the Moricone’s monastery , he fell and later died.


Third of seven children, Cesare was born in a palace of ancient Rome, in Piazza della Minerva, on the the 7th of November 1831; they baptized him the same day. His father Giantommaso is a nobleman of Tuscania (Viterbo); his mother is called Teresa Gozzani.
He completed his studies at the Roman Jesuit College, after that, he attended the Oratory of Caravita (1840-1847).
After entering the house of the Passionist Novitiate of St. Joseph on Monte Argentario (GR) on March 25, 1854, he obtained from the Superior General the faculty of being a guest of the community of the Presentation, always on the Argentario mountain.


The feast of Beato Bernardo is celebrated on the first Sunday of July. During the festival there are religious celebrations, recreational moments and Bernardiadi games, which last 3 days. Each year it has a different theme.
The bernardiadi take place in Padre Bernardo's sanctuary.

Paula Maria Seratoni was born in Moricone on the 22th of March 1701. After an examination, the Bishop Mons Bajardi invited her to collaborate with him for the pastoral visit. Her task was to advise, correct, teach embittered souls and restore lost spiritual balance. She died on the 10th of September 1871, returning her soul to the creator.
