The face in the centre of the picture, with eyes, nose and mouth, is the human face, but it can become many other faces... All of us can find ourselves in them because they show the different feelings that belong to the human beings without distinction of race, ethnicity, religion, age, talents or social condition. When someone cries, laughs, is afraid, shouts for sorrow or for joy we can understand immediately. All of us are equal in our feelings and needs. We all want to be happy and to have friends and to love. It is so simple to understand and to agree with this, but unfortunately it can be so difficult to realize, not only among us at school, but also out in the entire world.
We want to learn to accept diversity, we want to understand the others and we believe that all together we can build a better world.

Il viso nel centro del quadro, con occhi, naso e bocca, è il viso umano, ma può diventare molti altri visi...Tutti noi possiamo ritrovarci in essi, perché mostrano i diversi sentimenti che appartengono agli esseri umani, senza distinzione di razza, etnia, religione, età, talenti o condizioni sociali. Quando qualcuno piange, ride, ha paura, urla per il dolore o per la gioia, noi possiamo capire immediatamente, tutti noi siamo uguali nei nostri sentimenti e bisogni. Noi tutti vogliamo essere felici, avere amici e amare. E' cosi semplice da capire e condividere tutto questo, ma sfortunatamente, può essere così difficile da realizzare, non solo tra di noi a scuola, ma anche fuori nel mondo intero.
Noi vogliamo imparare ad accettare la diversità, noi vogliamo capire gli altri e credere che tutti insieme possiamo costruire un mondo migliore.
