Photo Journal

Wednesday was really fun! We went on a mini field-trip. We went to a photography studio called Makallys photography studio. After that we looked for texture and pattern in magazines.

Today was Thursday. We went on a field trip to Minneapolis Institute of Arts. And we went to the sculpture garden for lunch. We also had a partner were we took 3 pictures of them to present them.

Friday was a lot of fun! We learned about perspective. So we got to take 5 perspective pictures around the building. We also looked through magazines to find perspective and rule of thirds pictures.

On Friday we did a lot of organizing and a lot of macro. We did macro mysteries, which is were you take a picture of something close up. Then everybody tries to guess what it is. We also organized our pictures. We organized it by pictures of different categories like perspective, line, rule of thirds, etc.

On Thursday we went to Como zoo. We took a lot of good pictures of animals. We also went to the conservatory. So we took a lot pictures of plants too. And I got a sloth stuffed animal at the gift shop. And we got to eat lunch outside. We also saw a special magnetic rock.

Today was an awesome but crazy Wednesday!

We did a really fun scavenger hunt!  We had a group and went around getting  pictures we needed for the hunt. We also learned about book creator. That was crazy because it kept glitching. And we learned about rule of thirds.

I had a lot of fun on Monday. We learned about photography lines. Did you know lines have emotion. We also went around and outside the building to get pictures of things that look like letters in our name.

Tuesday was really fun! We learned about texture, pattern, and shape. Then a photographer named Skye came in and showed us pictures. She has a photography business called Skye's the limit  photography.

Monday was a lot of fun! We got to choose the pictures we wanted to print for the collage.  We put together our names on a line of string. 

I had a lot of fun on the first day. I loved seeing some cameras that are from a long time ago. It was also cool to learn about how they took the first pictures. And we did the number game.
