Dear peers,
When you view our news story, we hope you understand how important water is to us because  without water we don’t live. The book is telling us that NYC is a coastal city and without water    We can’t have New york .
We enjoyed making this book because we got to tell you all about water and the problems we have with it. Something challenging for the class was people being absent because they couldn’t access  the work and the other students had to cover for them. Please give us feedback about how your city’s water is and how you use it.
Sincerely, Eashan and Zack

NYC is a coastal city. We live on islands on the coast off of Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the Hudson River Estuary. Some major bodies of water in NYC including the Hudson River, the East River and Jamaica Bay. There is also the Atlantic Ocean on the east of NYC. The bodies of water play a critical role in protecting the habitat. For example it helps the animals stay alive because animals can’t live without water. It also helps us because we can’t live without water either. The bodies of water also provide Andy ecosystem for living things.
