Chapter 3 - EndingAfter days of celebration, the town was now calm again. The days were bright despite the cold and the farmers were getting ready for the upcoming months of hard work. In a town like this one, everything was routine and the town's folk always despised the slightest change. All this normality was something the people tried to maintain. There was something that all the town's folk knew but never talked about it. There were days when the light of day never came out and the earth shook violently. Many people disappeared not long after those days. People acted like they were not themselves and before anyone noticed, they left town without any word.
Days ago, a traveler arrived and with him the menace of enormous changes for everyone. He had a sword on his back and wore a dark hood that covered most of his face. If he had stayed more time that he actually stayed, the town's folk would have done something about it. He did not belong there and he should not have been there. But he left and everything went back to normal, although some people were concerned about the intentions of the traveler for having come to this place. And it did not take long for them to find out.
Some days after the traveler left the town, the sky turned black as a shadow. It was not the first time that something like happened but the town's folk knew what was going to happen next. The land started to shake but this time it was stronger. The people started to run, trying to escape in different directions. Although they have experienced this tragedy before, people did not react like they already knew this chaos.

The traveler was deep inside the city, impressed for what he was witnessing at the moment. He has never seen a city like that one before. He could not think possible for a city like that being constructed by the hands of men. The engravings were a constant sight wherever he directed his eyes. Apart from buildings, he saw some structures that defied any form of logical form. Just trying to see them created a feeling of anguish on the traveler. He did not know why but trying to make sense of what he was looking made his head hurt like anything else. At some point, he wanted to run. He wanted to escape this monstrous, terrifying and forgotten place but something kept driving him inside the city.
As he was entering deeper into the city, the air became dense. He felt like he had become deaf. His body felt heavy and it was not easy for him to keep walking, yet he was doing it. Without him noticing it, the floor began to shake. There was no sound but he felt it. There was an enormous and dark area in front of him. The light did not touch that place.

The traveler found the strength to stop walking and he just kept still, looking at that dark area. Suddenly, he saw small spots of light. The floor shook abruptly and he fell. The lights were getting bigger. The air became denser and a pressure on his chest started to overwhelm him. He kept seeing the light and he realized that the lights were not getting bigger; they were getting closer. Something was getting closer.

He managed to soot up.Whatever was coming, it was doing it at an impressive speed. The traveler heard the roar again. It was the only thing he could hear. It was louder and stronger than before and he knew that its source was from the creature that was coming after him. He could not see more of it. He just turned back and started to run. He did not know how closer was that thing form him but he knew he had to run as far and as quick as he could. As soon as he reached the area where the stairs were located he was exhausted. He stopped to look back and what he saw he could not describe. The alleys and buildings were covered by the creature. He could not describe it nor he could explain how big nor its form. Its hideous and frightening form could not be described but he knew that creature was looking at him. The traveler put his full attention on the stairs and he started to go up again. Not thinking on stopping again. His legs burned but finally, he reached the end of the stairs. A wall of rocks was blocking the way but he could not stop; he went just directly to the wall and again, he went through them. He was out in the woods again.
The land kept shaking and he raised his head. The mountain was collapsing. The giant world was burning and was closer than before. The traveler had to escape so he entered the woods hoping to find a safe place from all the destruction and chaos.
