Second Mobility: Cittanova LEARNING TEACHING TRAINING IN ITALY (24th-30th March 2019)

The contribution Italy gave to the project is based on the learning of the programming language Visual Basic Application (VBA) for digital innovation. The use of this programming language has the aim to strengthen the knowledge and skills of students and teachers. It may be applied to the study of Maths, Physics, ICT, in an innovative way. VBA is mainly used in the Office Excel package and allows the implementation of worksheets with mathematical formulas. It allows the management of results obtained from experiences in physics, chemistry and mathematics laboratories. 

Impressions

The last mobility within our project, US ICT, was completed, a project extended by 1 year due to the pandemic with Covid 19. It was a challenge for us because it was the first virtual mobility and because we were a very large number of participants. The objectives of the mobility have been achieved and I think we have taken a step forward in developing the digital skills of the participating students. We have created many materials, examples of good practice, resources that can be used by teachers and that will be found in the final tangible results of the project. I thank all the teachers and students from the partner high schools from Italy, Lithuania, Turkey and Romania. I learned a lot from our partners and I want our school to look like these schools in the future. Congratulations to all!&nbsp; Thank you&nbsp;#ErasmusPlus ! The Romanian team raised the enthusiasm in our students to learn subjects that are not included in their school curriculum: Wanda, tinkercad, Moodle. We could appreciate the great professionality of the Romanian coordinator and teachers who were able to involve all the students and elicit their interest. Also this last mobility can be considered an extremely positive experience. - Italian team It was very interesting to broaden our knowledge on the educational system, technology and innovative methods applied in Dacia Technological High School and at the University of Pitesti and to expand our horizons on how students apply skills gained at these educational institutions in practice.&nbsp;- Lithuanian team

SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT The aim and objectives of the project are implementation of an innovative method of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teaching and learning of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), use of digital learning and teaching tools, techniques and materials in educational processes, promotion of acquisition and consolidation of competences to use attractive digital methods among students. Through team building and socializing, project participants - students and teachers from 4 countries (Romania, Turkey, Italy, Lithuania) developed their teamwork, problem solving, collaboration, positive attitude to life and English communication skills. The intercultural learning activities within the geographical location, social, economic and historical aspects lead to better cooperation.

First Mobility: Burdur LEARNING TEACHING TRAINING IN TURKEY (18th-24th November 2018)

The purpose of LTT in Turkey is to develop communication skills, teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving by learning the programming using the STEM concept - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. A programming language proposed by the Turkish partner is Scratch, a programming platform that teaches beginners how to encode in a fun way using simple animations.

Fourth (Virtual) Mobility: Pitesti LEARNING TEACHING TRAINING IN ROMANIA (17th May- 21st May 2021)

The activities in the LTT in Romania aim to increase the quality of education by integrating information and communication technology and innovative pedagogical methods in teaching subjects in the field of computer science and technology on the e-learning platforms of the school: Moodle, Tinkercad and Wanda.education

Third Mobility: Panevėžys LEARNING TEACHING TRAINING IN LITHUANIA (29th September - 5th October 2019)

The themes of the proposed activities Learning of programming by LEGO are: Robot Game: Build and program an autonomous LEGO MINDSTORMS robot. Project: Teams learn more about the science behind the Challenge theme and design a solution to solve a real-world problem. STEM learning with LEGO is a program dedicated to students (14 - 19 years old) that aims to introduce them to the fascinating world of science and technology through a sporting approach.
