Evaluation of Religious Education as an Optional subject

Performance ratings: Excellent, Distinguished, Good, Adequate, Not adequate

Starting this year, the school curriculum is enriched with a new subject: CIVIC EDUCATION. CIVICS is going to be taught INTERDISCIPLINARILY by all the teachers of the team. CIVIC EDUCATION WILL BE PART OF THE REPORT CARD WITH AL THE OTHER SUBJECTS, TOGETHER WITH ITS LEARNING GOALS.

At this level you reached the goal. It shows that you also overcame difficulties you encountered along the way by means of your resources and knowledge, working with passion and without getting discouraged.

If you are at this level, you reached the goal working properly by yourself. You put in practice your learnings using very effectively your resources. Keep it up!

To understand what level you are currently at, we identified four big areas of assessment,which represent the basis for every subject matter goal. These areas tell us about the way you work and learn, of your progress, of your commitment effortsand creativity.

MEANING OF THE ASSESSMENT AREAS

Am I capable of adapting to different ways of performing the same activity or task?

Do I try doing my work using all what I have learnt?

Your learning path includes all the goals for the school subjects required for your class-year. You will discover how well you are working, which resources you have utilized, and what stage you are at for each subject matter. You can be at one of four different levels.

Starting this year, the report card will not have numeric grades anymore. Instead, it will help us understand what stage you are at in your learning path.

If you reached this level, you probably still need help in the learning path. You learned some things, you are learning others, this is exactly why we go to school, and teachers are here to help! One step at a time… and we can go far!

If you are at the basic level of a learning path you are on the right way. It means that you ask for help when you need it, and you make good use of this help. With some more efforts together we can reach the goal!&nbsp;

The level you reached does not say how good you are, but just speaks about you and of the learning path we are on together. It explains what stage of the path you are at, in which way you are reaching your goals, and tells us which is the right way to reach those goals.
