trapping the heat from the sun, causing the earth's temperature to rise. If we do not act soon, future generations will suffer the consequences.

Greenhouse Gases are released into the air by burning fossil fuels.

The national grid is the electricity grid that runs across the country through electricity wires. It powers all of the houses, businesses and schools in Ireland

Solar-thermal panels can heat your water using sunlight rather than burning nasty fossil fuels.

Switch off before you head off
